OUR COACHES

"Success in business requires training and discipline and hard work. But if you're not frightened by these things, the opportunities are just as great today as they ever were." - David Rockefeller

Melanie Novis President of Corporate Speech Consultants(CSC) and lead coach, is author of Canadian Public Speaking and recipient of the University of Toronto's SCS Excellence in Teaching Award. Her national and international clients have ranged from newly promoted executives to seasoned multinational chief executives.

While each client is unique, they all seek to improve their public speaking and presentation skills, develop their communication capabilities and enhance their leadership presence. With Melanie’s help, they accomplish just that – and in the process achieve the next level or two of success.

Melanie’s sophisticated teaching techniques have transformed podium-shy clients into motivated, confident and articulate speakers, who can advance not only their business goals but also master high-impact communications.

She holds a Licentiate from Trinity College of London and graduated from the University of Cape Town, South Africa, with a HPTD, specializing in speech.

Q: We would like to promote a manager but the individual lacks effective communication and interpersonal skills. Can you help us to address this?
A: Yes. Working directly with the individual, we would teach him or her how to structure an audience-focused message, listen actively and understand paralanguage, and create rapport and connection with staff.
